Liverpool talent Harvey Elliott shines in win, get’s 8/10 for ‘exceptional’ display
Liverpool youngster Harvey Elliott is showing no signs of slowing down on loan at Blackburn Rovers, earning plenty of plaudits for his performance in Saturday’s 3-1 win over QPR.
The teenager was a surprise signing by the 1995 Premier League champions during the summer, taking the Liverpool ace on loan for the 2020/21 campaign.
It’s fair to say that he’s absolutely flying at Ewood Park with both Tony Mowbray and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp likely to be delighted with his progress.

Elliott claiming an assist on Saturday to make it three from six games for Rovers, with the youngster also scoring in a 4-0 win over Coventry City last month.
On Saturday the 17-year-old earned rave reviews from who gave him an 8 out of 10 for his efforts against Mark Warburton’s team.
“His quality to drift and meander through defences is exceptional. The weight of pass to recognise the trajectory of Armstrong’s run is a gift – if anything it should be X-rated.”
TBR View – The future looks bright for Elliott
Even his biggest fans back at Liverpool can’t have imagined he’d be performing so well at Ewood Park in the demanding Championship.
At 17 some might have predicted him to be a bit-part player, whilst others might have fancied him to struggle to make an impact straight away.

Those critics are being proved wrong and he’s currently playing week in and week out in Mowbray’s team.
That should put him in good shape to return to Liverpool and fight for a first-team place in the future.
