Some Liverpool fans react to performance of Takumi Minamino against Chelsea
Liverpool saw their hopes of winning the treble evaporate last night as they were beaten 2-0 by Chelsea in the FA Cup.
Goals from Willian and Ross Barkley ended Liverpool’s assault on three competitions and left Jurgen Klopp reeling on the end of three defeats in four games.
Both sides opted to make some changes to their starting line-ups and it was Chelsea who saw their fringe players stake a claim for a regular place.

The likes of Neco Williams, Takumi Minamino and Divock Origi were all handed the chance to impress and there were some positive aspects on the night.
Minamino was signed from Salzburg during the January transfer window and has been slowly adapting to English football.
The 25-year-old was the hot topic of conversation after the Chelsea game with many fans taking to Twitter to discuss his performance.
Minamino scored nine goals and registered 11 assists before arriving at Anfield. Jurgen Klopp hasn’t utilised much yet though with just three substitute appearances to his name in the Premier League.

The man was always going to take some time to settle and it’ll be interesting to see how much game time he gets between now and the end of the season.
Following his runout last night, here is a selection of tweets from Liverpool fans on his performance.

Liked what I saw, he picked up some nice positions and had some really touches. Liked his link up play with Mane and Williams in the first half. Still think we'll see the best of him next season

Quite enjoyed that half. I'd be surprised if we don't at least get a goal back here. Minamino has been bright, as has Williams.
Be nice if one of the shots that we've kicked straight at their keeper went in like, hahaha!
