Report: ‘Incredible’ Liverpool player will sign agreement elsewhere this week

Liverpool striker, Divock Origi, will reportedly sign his contract with AC Milan this week as he brings the curtain down on his spell at Anfield.

Origi scored once again yesterday as Liverpool beat Everton. His late header added yet another line to a story which will see Origi go down as a Liverpool legend and cult hero. However, despite that status, he is leaving the club at the end of his contract this summer.

And according to , Origi will sign with AC Milan this week. The Belgian striker has been on Milan’s radar for months and the Italian side even tried to land the Liverpool star in January.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has accepted that Origi is leaving and was full of praise for his striker this weekend once again. Origi himself is hoping to move somewhere and get regular football. Of course, Milan are a huge club, but he will run the risk of not being the main man there as well.

an ‘incredible’ finisher by Klopp, Origi will be hoping to cement himself in the coming year and get involved with the Belgium squad for the World Cup.

TBR’s View: Milan A Big Stage For Origi To Shine

Jurgen Klopp believes Origi will go elsewhere and do well and AC Milan is a big stage to try and do that.

Despite their lack of success in recent years, Milan are back on the rise and expectation is always high among the supporters inside the San Siro. Origi, then, will really need to buckle down in order to ensure he doesn’t end up being a super sub once again.

For Liverpool, it’s a case of simply moving on and seeing if they can land a replacement. Origi has done well, but he’s not the best striker in the world either, so there are others out there.
