Liverpool star says he wishes he has one ability that Manchester City ace boasts

that he wishes he had the passing ability of Manche🦄ster City goalkeeper and Brazil teammate Ederson, after the Reds star finished above Ederson in the FIFA Best Goalkeeper Awards.

Alisson helped Liverpool finish in second in the Premier League and wi🅷n the Champions League last season, after joining the club from AS Roma in the summer of 2018. He kept a huge 27 clean sheets in 51 games, conceding only 34 goals.

That form saw him finish above Ederson despite the latter winning the Premier League with Manchester City. Marc-Andre ter Stegen of Barcelon𝄹a finished in third place, but Alisson has admitted he wished he had something Ederson boasts.

Ederson joined Ma༒nchester City from Benfica for £35million () in 2017, and has since caught the eye with his stunning passing and ability with the ball at his feet – and Alisson has claimed he would love to have a similar talent.

“They are great goa𒊎lkeepers and meet all the requirements for the position,” Alisson said. “I’d love to have Ederson’s long-range passing, it’s amazing. From ♌Ter Stegen, I’d like his explosiveness: he makes some great saves thanks to his powerful legs.”

TBR’s view – Which is better – Ederson or Alisson?

Alisson is probably right, Ederson is better with the ball at his feet. Mistakes again🐷st Leicester City from Alisson and other instances of dodgyness with the ball have come during his time in England.

He is still very good with the ball at his feet, though, and is probably a better shot stopper than Ederson. He is a🍰lso excellent when claiming a cross or dominating his penalty area. Aliss📖on is probably better, but only just.
