Liverpool should move heaven and earth to sign Kai Havertz this summer
Liverpool make the trip to Watford in tomorrow night’s evening game looking to go 25 points clear with Manchester City not in action.
The title looks a foregone conclusion for the Reds and it won’t be long before attentions turn towards the summer transfer window.
One man who looks set to be the subject of vast interest is midfield maestro Kai Havertz.

The youngster was up to his usual tricks last night, scoring and setting up two in a 3-1 win for Bayer Leverkusen against Porto in the Europa League.
A 20-year-old, the wonderkid is thought to be valued in the region of . Even at such a staggering sum, however, he’s exactly what Liverpool need to add to their squad this summer.
The beauty of Havertz is not only his quality and unearthed potential but also his versatility to play in a number of positions.
In attack, Liverpool’s front three are world-class but in reserve, there isn’t a great deal in the way of creativity. Adam Lallana and Xherdan Shaqiri will probably leave in the summer, Divock Origi is more of a target man, whilst Curtis Jones is raw and inexperienced.
In both legs against Porto, he operated on the right flank, whilst he is more natural terrorising defenders through the middle.
Liverpool perhaps don’t score enough goals from the middle of the park and Havertz could provide that element, along with his creative spark.
Form
After a slow start to this season, the German has scored eight goals and registered five assists.

Havertz has a pass success ratio of 86.1% this season, making at least two key passes in every single game. In a better side, however, it seems likely that he will get more chances to work his magic and increase those numbers.
Liverpool are already pretty dominant and Havertz could complete Klopp’s unbelievable squad. Others are likely to circle but any player would surely relish a move to Anfield right now.
Klopp could be the perfect manager for the youngster’s development and Liverpool should pounce this summer.
