Liverpool set their asking price for Darwin Nunez this summer with striker open to leaving Anfield

The Uruguay international is into his third season at Anfield, and he is yet to convince the Liverpool faithful that he is the right man to lead their 🌸line.

Sources with knowledge of the situation understand that the 25-year-oღld is likely to depart having been told in January that they would be open to him🍨 moving.

We are told that a deal for Nunez in January never progressed beyond talk between intermediaries, with Liverpool ins💎isting that they did not engage in discussions with any club about a transfer.

The striker’s camp insist that he is open about his future, but the fact that Liverpool are demanding over £60 million for the Uruguayan means that the landing spots are limiཧted – hence the interest from the Saudi Pro League.

Nunez is Liverpool’s record transfer having moved from Benfica in a deal🐬 worth £85 million.
