Liverpool scout ‘world-class’ Euro 2024 star whose contract expires this month
Liverpool are likely to be busy on the transfer front this summer as they hope to give Arne Slot the best possible start as Reds manager.
Jurgen Klopp has laid some solid foundations at Liverpool and the Reds board must now do all they can to build on those.
Two Liverpool first-teamers are set to leave in the club in the coming weeks, namely defender Joel Matip and midfielder Thiago Alcantara.
With that in mind, the Reds are likely to look for replacements. Now, according to a report from Italy, they have set their sights on a midfielder currently at Euro 2024.

Liverpool set sights on Adrien Rabiot
The player in question is France international Adrien Rabiot, who is currently contracted to Juventus, but only until the end of the month.
According to , Liverpool are among the Premier League clubs that have been scouting the 29-year-old. Real Madrid are also said to be keen.
The report claims that Rabiot and Juve are ‘getting further apart’. The Bianconeri apparently offered a new contract to the player and expected a response before the Euros.
However, this response ‘did not arrive’, claimed Sport Italia. ‘In response, Adrien’s mother-agent would have asked for a commission to renew the contract.’
With contract talks seemingly not progressing, this lets the likes of Liverpool into the race for his services.
