James Milner hails ‘ruthless’ Liverpool forward Rhian Brewster
Liverpool midfielder James Milner has told the that Rhian Brewster can be a ‘ruthless’ addition to Jurgen Klopp’s ranks.
The 19-year-old made his long-awaited debut in Wednesday’s 2-0 win over MK Dons in the Carabao Cup.
Brewster played the full 90 minutes and having featured on the bench towards the back end of last season he will now hope for more game time.
The £140,000-a-week star played in an unfamiliar left-back role in midweek and did a decent job.

He believes that the future is bright but reserved special praise for striker Brewster.
“Rhian is an out-and-out goalscorer, you know that he’ll score goals.
“He’s got that hunger and he’s learning from one of the best there is at the other side of the game, Bobby.
“He might not be able to do the Cruyffs that Bobby can do but he is ruthless in front of goal, he’ll get plenty of goals.”
Brewster will hope to make the squad tomorrow when Liverpool travel to Sheffield United. Having made his debut, the challenge is to earn more minutes in either the Premier League or Champions League and continue to impress Klopp.
TBR Verdict – Just the start for Brewster
Widely regarded as one of the next big things, the ball is now firmly in Brewster’s court. Klopp has shown him that the pathway to the first-team is clear and it’s now up to the teenager.

Brewster knows that Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mo Salah are first choice options in attack but he must be ready to grasp another chance in the event of injuries.
The young forward is a superb talent and he could go all the way to the top if he continues to learn from the best and seize his opportunities when they come along.
