Liverpool reportedly set to sign goalkeeper Adrian to replace Simon Mignolet
Liverpool are set to sign former West Ham United goalkeeper Adrian to replace outgoing stopper Simon Mignolet,
Adrian is a free agent after leaving the London Stadium this summer and has a 125 Premier League appearances to his name () from his time with the Hammers.
The says that a list of goalkeeping candidates has been drawn up following Mignolet’s departure to join Club Brugge in his native Belgium and 32-year-old Adrian is at the top.
Real Valladolid in Adrian’s native Spain are keen to bring him in, but Jurgen Klopp is set to swoop to get him as cover for Alisson.

This is perhaps a strange one from Liverpool. If Alisson stays injury-free like he did last season, then it will be an inconsequential switchover of one experienced, eccentric Premier League goalkeeper for another as backup on the bench.
But if the Brazilian does have a problem, Liverpool face going into a title fight with a relentless Manchester City with Adrian between the sticks.
And he was popular in east London but was eventually let go because he took too many risks and couldn’t get near Lukasz Fabianski’s level.
Is he good enough for Liverpool? Perhaps not, and the Reds could yet return to their days of dodgy keepers if he is relied upon in the intense pressure of a title fight.
