Liverpool reportedly make contact over for Pedri, some supporters respond on Twitter
Liverpool have reportedly open talks with the representatives of Barcelona teenager Pedri ahead of the summer window, though Barcelona are desperate to keep the Spain international at the club – and Liverpool fans have reacted on Twitter to the reports.
Pedri, 18, is already causing quite a stir. The attacking midfielder joined Barcelona in the summer of 2019 for a fee that could reach £21.5million (), before being loaned back to boyhood club Las Palmas – where he played 37 times at senior level.
Having a hand in 11 goals during that loan, Ronald Koeman has since handed the three-time Spain international a major role in the senior side. Already, despite his tender age, Pedri has clocked up 44 appearances for Barca, having a hand in nine goals.
Liverpool want him at Anfield. It is believed the player has a release clause in his contract worth an enormous £70million. They have made contact with the player’s agents, but Barcelona are desperate to keep Pedri at the Nou Camp.
Liverpool fans have reacted on Twitter to the reports that the Merseyside outfit are interested in Pedri this summer – and many believe he would be a good signing for Jurgen Klopp’s side, though the overriding belief is that Barcelona will not sell him.
Would definitely take him. Not optimistic this will happen, surely Barca would want to keep him

70 mil would be a massive gamble, but he is a big big talent though

Highly unlikely he leaves Barca but £70m would be a steal. He’s a tremendous talent!
