Liverpool have looked a force to be reckoned with under Arne Slot so far this season with no goals conceded in three Premier League games.
The summer transfer window gave Michael Edwards and Richard Hughes the perfect opportunity to add some quality at Liverpool.
However, the Anfield chiefs only managed to bring in two new names in the form of Giorgio Mamardashvili and Federico Chiesa, with the former staying on loan at Valencia for the season.
Chiesa is yet to appear for the Reds but many at Anfield are excited as he adds quality in forward areas and has the versatility to slot into numerous positions.
There was plenty of other business that the Reds tried to do, including bringing Martin Zubimendi to Anfield but they now look to be eyeing a 2025 move.

Is Anthony Gordon good enough for Liverpool?
Anthony Gordon has set the Premier League alight since moving to Newcastle from Everton, and it now appears as if he’s gaining some attention from the big boys.
Of course, with Mohamed Salah‘s future up in the air it makes sense to look at potential replacements, and Gordon certainly fits the Liverpool mould of a young, exciting talent.
He scored 12 goals and assisted 11 last season in all competitions for the Magpies and has one goal to his name in the opening three Premier League games this season.
His quick feet, lightning quick pace and ability to create and score goals makes him a nightmare for any defence to keep out, and he’s still only 23.
Jamie Carragher even stated that he’d have loved for Liverpool to have signed the Englishman in the summer just gone.
However, one slight issue could be the fact that he plays on the left-hand side, as this is a position where Luis Diaz has thrived this season with Mo Salah operating on the right.
