Liverpool really like £40m Premier League player who Pep Guardiola called ‘quality’
According to a recent report, Liverpool are keen on a midfielder who Pep Guardiola really rates.
The Reds have been biding their time in the summer transfer window but with Arne Slot now in post and the start of a new financial year, deals are expected to intensify.
Slot will be eager to better last season’s third-placed finish but to do that, he’ll need heavy investment as he looks to add new profiles to the squad that align with his style of play.
With that said, it has just emerged that Liverpool are keeping close tabs on a Brazil international who plies his trade in the Premier League.

They’re in desperate need of a goalscoring winger on the left, with Mohamed Salah too heavily relied on at the moment.
Luis Diaz and Cody Gakpo have struggled to really reach the heights they promised elsewhere, so perhaps a move for Crysencio Summerville should be considered.
The Dutchman netted 21 goals whilst laying on 10 assists for Leeds United last season and scooped the Championship’s Player of the Year award.
Summerville should be high up on Liverpool’s list of priorities.
