Liverpool predicted XI v Everton: £100,000-a-week player starts

Liverpool make the short trip to Everton tomorrow night looking to compound the misery on their bitter rivals.

Rafa Benitez is in charge of the Toffees these days and he’s overseen a run of seven winless games.

That isn’t Liverpool’s problem though and they will head to Goodison Park in confident spirits having lost just once all season.

Jurgen Klopp’s men won 4-0 against Southampton at the weekend and they are hoping to flex their title credentials this season.

Ahead of tomorrow’s game, we looked at how Liverpool could line up against Everton.

The Liverpool rearguard

Likewise, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson should both start in the full-back positions.

There could be one change at the back though. Klopp might call on experience against Everton and that could see a recall for Joel Matip alongside Virgil van Dijk.

The player was on the bench at the weekend but could be in line for a start tomorrow.

In midfield

There isn’t an abundance of options for Klopp to call upon here for the Everton clash.

As a result, Jordan Henderson, Thiago and Fabinho all look likely to claim their places in the starting eleven.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will provide the backup from the bench.

The Liverpool front three picks itself at the moment and they’re a trio bang in form at the moment.

Mo Salah and Sadio Mane will operate in wide roles, with Diogo Jota operating through the middle.
