Liverpool have now agreed to sign Federico Chiesa from Juventus – but another signing could follow the Italian to Anfield.

A story from now states that Liverpool have asked Lyon about Rayan Cherki𝓀 – who is free to leave the Ligue 1 outfit before Friday’s transfer deadline.

♛Like Chiesa, the Frenchman only has 11 months remaining on his contract, so Lyon have been attempting to find a buyer for the France U23 international, putting a €15m (£12.6m) price tag on his head.

🙈PSG came close to signing Cherki earlier this summer – according to the French news outlet – before the Lyon No.18 failed to agree personal terms with the Parisians, and now, Liverpool have expressed an interest in signing the talented forward.

𝓀L’Equipe believe the Lyon-born attacker will consider signing a new contract if a new club does not show interest in the final hours of the transfer window, but that is where Liverpool are mentioned in the report, with it being claimed that the Reds have made enquiries in recent days.
