Liverpool now plotting move for £30m South American with ‘strong personality’

Liverpool are still looking at potential new signings this month and Atalanta midfielder Ederson is now on their radar.

The Reds are not expected to make moves this mont🥃h with money limited and no apparent need for immediate strengthening needed. However, Liverpool have been kn🐷own in the past to move quickly if they feel someone is gettable.

And according to reports from Italy, Atalanta star Ederson is the latest name to be linked with a move to Anfield.

Liverpool eyeing move for Atalanta’s Ederson

According to a report from , Ederson is being targ🔯eted by a number of clubs, including Liverpool.

The Reds spent money on new midfielders like Alexis Mac Allister, Wataru Endo and Dominik Szoboszlai in the summer. However, there’s been a constant fཧeeling that one more defensive minded midfielder would help them along.

Ederson, 24, has been doing the business for Atalanta and has given a glowing reference on the Br🐲azilian as well.

“24-years-old, strong, well-built central 🐼midfielder. Strong on the ball, versatile, box-to-box. Strong personality as well. The first time I remember him was his professional debut really,” Vickery explained.

Liverpool, then, could well have another star on their hands ifꦦ they make their move.

Ederson is also being looked at by Tottenham, while Newcastle are also keen on the Brazilian as well.

More depth needed

Wheth𓆉er or not it happens in January or in the summer, Liverpool probably do just need to add that little bit more depth to their squad.

Right now, the R🍸eds have a very good XI and beyond that, some good backs up in certain positions.

However, midfield is always an area for improvement and a playe🌠r like Ederson would improve things for the Anfield club.

At around the mark, Ede♍rson is not too expensive eith🌳er and if a deal can be done, then you’d have to say it’s smart business by the Reds.
