Liverpool now looking at signing one of the biggest talents in Brazil in £47m deal

Liverpool are the latest club to be considering making a move to sign exciting Brazilian talent, Luis Guilherme.

Currently plying his trade with Palmeiras, Guilherme is yet another off the production line at the Brazilian club. The South American side have produced Endrick, who has already signed for Real Madrid, as well as previous sales such as current Arsenal star, Gabriel Jesus.

And it looks like Guilherme could be next to go for big money, with Liverpool among the teams keen.

Liverpool are thought to be considering Guilherme among a number of top talents around the world as they look to build for the future as well as the here and now.

Regarded as one of the best talents in Brazil, Guilherme has a £47m release-clause in his current deal.

“Luis Guilherme highlights the success of Palmeiras’ youth academy. Only 17, he is already capable of being influential as a no.10 in Brazil’s Série A and is also capable of playing as a winger. He is one of Brazil’s biggest talents. He is very fast—both physically but also mentally—and has an excellent left foot,” Marcos Watts has said.

Liverpool building

There are some outstanding young players at Liverpool already but nothing quite beats the excitement of signing a top Brazilian youngster.

Sometimes, these young Brazilians fail but right now, Palmeiras seem to be producing the goods and it’s little wonder Luis Guilherme is being looked at so heavily.

If Liverpool land him, they’ll have pulled off a huge coup given how players like this normally end up in Spain or further afield.

The Brazilian market is becoming increasingly fruitful and Guilherme would be a shrewd investment for the Reds.
