Liverpool make ‘strong push’ for Dean Huijsen with offer presented – one Arne Slot star could make way
Liverpool are on the verge of winning their 20th League title after Arsenal’s draw against Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.
Mateta scored a brilliant equaliser late in the game to end any title hopes left for Mikel Arteta’s side, putting the Reds on the cusp of glory.
A draw will be enough for Liverpool to win the Premier League title this Sunday against Tottenham.
With the Premier League done and dusted, Arne Slot already seems to have one eye on next season, as he looks to further improve his squad.
The club has been linked with several players, with Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen being one of them.

Liverpool make ‘strong push’ for Dean Huijsen
Huijsen is strongly linked with a move to Liverpool along with his teammate Milos Kerkez.
Liverpool have already met with Huijsen’s agent last week to discuss a summer move however, they face intense competition from other clubs in the Premier League and abroad.
Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg has now shared an update on the Bournemouth star’s future, claiming that the Reds have once again made a strong push to beat the competition and secure the 20-year-old’s signature.
According to him, the club has presented him with the project and financial offer in recent days and if they succeed in signing him, they plan to either loan out or sell Jarell Quansah, suggesting that Huijsen will be taking over his role in the squad.
Plettenberg further adds that the player is yet to make a decision as some other interested clubs are still sorting out their internal situations before making a move.
Huijsen tipped to become a top-class player
Those close to him have tipped Huijsen to become one of the best in the world. That is according to journalist Mark Douglas who recently revealed what people close to the player are saying about him.
Douglas said: “But he is going to be, I think, top, top class. You know, people are already saying, people around him, people who have watched him play think he’s going to be one of, if not the best centre-back in the world in the coming years.
While Virgil van Dijk extended his contract with Liverpool last week, ending the season-long uncertainty about his future at the club, the Reds could be eyeing Huijsen as his long-term successor.
