‘Great’: Klopp thinks £63k-a-week Liverpool player has been so good behind-the-scenes
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has praised Adrian for his role in helping Luis Diaz settle at Anfield.
The Reds manager was speaking to the club’s ahead of Saturday’s Premier League meeting with Spurs.
Adrian joined Liverpool in 2019 on a free transfer after leaving fellow Premier League side West Ham.

Shortly after signing, the 35-year-old helped the Reds win the European Super Cup against Chelsea.
Since then, Caoimhin Kelleher has leapfrogged Adrian to become Liverpool’s second choice in between the sticks.
However, Klopp remains very fond of the stopper.
Adrian played in the Carabao Cup tie against Preston earlier this season, with Alisson Becker and Kelleher both unavailable.
That appearance, in which he kept a clean sheet in a 2-0 win, remains his only outing this season for the Reds.
“Helped him so much”
By the sounds of it, Adrian is a very popular and influential figure in the Liverpool dressing room.
Klopp, speaking ahead of the Tottenham clash, spoke about the unbelievable impact Diaz has made since joining in January.
He revealed how Diaz “communicates with everybody without really speaking the language”, but also praised the “Spanish faction” for taking him under their wing.
“It’s so much up to him more than it was to other players maybe because he communicates with everybody without really speaking the language,” said Klopp.
“OK, we have the Spanish faction, that’s no problem, they are really close and they helped him so much. Thiago, Fab, Ali, Bobby, all these kind of guys, Adrian is great in these aspects.”
This just goes to show how important it is when even the fringe players in a club’s dressing room do their bit and contribute to a great culture.
Liverpool remain on the cusp of an unprecedented quadruple, and every player, from the regulars to the fringe players, have all been doing their bit.
