Liverpool fans react as Joe Gomez and Rhian Brewster return to training

Liverpool are still in with a chance of claiming a Premier League and Champions League double this season.

The Reds are currently top of the league, whilst they face a quarter-final with Porto in Europe.

It remains to be seen whether Jurgen Klopp’s men can complete the job and claim a piece of silverware.

Klopp’s squad is already decent but some news that emerged yesterday indicates more strength in depth.

According to the club’s official Twitter, Joe Gomez is now back in training so his return shouldn’t be too far off.

Youngster Rhian Brewster is also back in training with the club too.

The 18-year-old hasn’t played for the first-team just yet but is tipped for a bright future in the game.

It is Gomez’s return that will excite the Reds supporters more.

The 21-year-old hasn’t played since fracturing his leg at Burnley back in December and his return will be timely.

Gomez was starting to work well in tandem with Virgil van Dijk and having him available for the run-in is ideal.
