Liverpool: January move for forward; youngsters put pen to paper; ‘new Nasri’ scouted
Liverpool are preparing a move for Rostov’s 21-year-old forward Sardar Azmoun in the January transfer window after the Iranian’s impressive form has done enough to convince Jurgen Klopp that he could be the solution to the club’s impending striker crisis with Danny Ings out injured and Sadio Mane set to travel to the African Cup of Nations, claim the .

The club are also delighted to see that three of their most promising youngsters have put pen to paper on new long term deals as Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kevin Stewart signed five year deals, whilst Ben Woodburn signed the longest possible deal that he is able to at 17-years-old, a three year contract.
The trio have all been on the fringes of the Reds’ first team this season with Woodburn the only one yet to make his first team debut after the midfield duo have both made their bows under Jurgen Klopp. All three are highly rated by Klopp and he is believed to be central to the decisions to renew their contracts.
Another youngster who could soon be joining them is young Marseille attacking midfielder Maxime Lopez, claim . Dubbed the next “Samir Nasri”, the 18-year-old is capable of playing on either flank as well as his preferred role as a central attacking midfielder and is also wanted by Arsenal.
The youngster has already made six appearances this season, five in the league for the south coast French club, but he is already attracting interest from across the continent with Liverpool one of many potential suitors.
