Landing Sancho would give Liverpool world’s greatest attack

Liverpool continue to fly high under the guidance of Jurgen Klopp and look set to go head-to-head with Manchester City for the Premier League title.

The Reds have remained undefeated in the first eight matches in 2018-19, entering the international break on the back of a goalless draw with Pep Guardiola’s defending champions.

Already boasting a superb attacking contingent that consists of Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Daniel Sturridge and Xherdan Shaqiri, fans have been given even more reason to be excited by the latest reports.

the Reds are one of a number of Premier League sides expressing an interest in landing Borussia Dortmund sensation Jadon Sancho and, should Liverpool be successful in that quest, would boast an attacking line for world football to envy.

18-year-old Sancho has mainly be utilised on the left-side for Dortmund this season and would, therefore, compete with Mane for a spot in Liverpool’s starting XI at Anfield, leaving Salah and Shaqiri as the options on the right.

With Sturridge enjoying a revival this season and providing good competition to Firmino at the spearhead of the attack, Liverpool’s depth would be sensational and the Reds have already shown they have the finances to secure expensive additions after landing Virgil van Dijk and Alisson this year.
