Liverpool could be forced to dive into the market for a new striker this summer.

Osimhen, however, is more likely to return to Galatasaray on a permanent deal in the coming weeks, but a move to the Premier League cannot be ruled out.

Along with Liverpool, the report claims that fellow English sides Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal are all keen to sign a new striker, and Osimhen could end up being an option for one of those clubs.

Victor Osimhen’s wage demands could reduce

One of the biggest problems for Premier League clubs who have wanted to sign Osimhen have been his wage demands.

The report claims that until now, the Nigeria international has been seeking a whopping £400,000-a-week to join any club.

But, GMS have now revealed that ‘Osimhen may consider dropping his salary expectations’ to test himself at the highest level.

That has reportedly led to ‘Liverpool and other admirers keeping tabs on his situation’ ahead of the transfer window reopening in the coming days.
