Liverpool have sent their scouts to watch two of the World Cup’s biggest stars, one is making history – Romano
Liverpool have been watching World Cup starts Cody Gakpo andꦗ Mohammed Kudus since before the tourna🐼ment started.
Gakpo scored in all three of the Netherlands’ group game♌s as they topped their pool to set up a last 16 clash ꧙with the United States on Saturday.
Kudus has two in two games f꧅or Ghana so far, both coming in a match-winning performance against South Korea this week▨.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano has told🅠 that the Reds have had their sc🐼outs watching both men before the tournament they have now shone at.

Romano on Liverpool interest in Gakpo and Kudus
He said: “Liverpool have sent their scouts to PSV games to monitor𒅌 Gakpo, they did 🔜the same with Kudus for example.
“It’s a normal kind of interest but there is still no meeting scheduled b꧙etween agents and Liverpool as of today.
“For sure, with this kind of super performances, interest is growing 🎉– and Man United💮 remain in the race.”
Gakpo has made history as the first Dutch player to score in the first three games of the World Cup and only three of his countrymen have ever netted in three consecutive matches at the to🍸urnament, full stop.
That will only serve to raise his profile, which was a🅰lready growing after a summer near miss with the Premier League and a season where he has smashed in the goals for PSV.
Now, it seems there could be a race on for him and Kudus and it remains to be seeꦗn if they leave the Netherꦗlands mid-season or not.
