Liverpool fans now want to sign ‘absolutely ridiculous’ Nottingham Forest player after City Ground draw
Liverpool fans have called on their club to sign one of Nottingham Forest’s star players in wake of a top performance in their 1-1 draw against Arne Slot’s side on Tuesday night.
The Reds fell behind🙈 after just eight minutes in the Premier League game a💛t the City Ground when Chris Wood drilled a fine finish across Alisson and into the far corner.
Liverpool were given a tough time by Nuno Espirito Santo’s Nottingham Forest charges but managed to pull one back in the sec🔯ond half.
Substitutes Kostas Tsimikas and Diogo Jota combined for a 66th-minute equaliser, the former whipping in a corner for the🐬 latter to head home.
In the end, Liverpool had to make do with a share of the spoils as Forest remained unbeaten𝄹 against the Anfield side in the league this season.

The player in question is Murillo, who has gone from strength to strength at Forest sin꧟ce joining from Corinthians﷽ in 2023.
Murillo was a rock at the back for the City Ground side, making a staggering 18 clearances – the✅ most by any Premier League player in one game thܫis season.
He a♑lso weighed in with four tackles, along with two interceptions and a block.
Liverpool fans were stunned by wh🔯at the saw from the Brazilian, with one supporter writing: 🌜“That Murillo is absolutely ridiculous”.
Another fan said: “Get this Murillo fella 🧸at my club. Real defender”. One added: “We should be lookin𒀰g to sign Murillo.”
The calls to sign the Forest star kept coming, with one Liverpool fan writing: “If we are a serious club, we s༒hould sign Murillo.”
Another even♑ backed him to be a replacement for Virgil van Dijk as he wrote: “To be honest. I really want Murillo at LFC. See🤡ms the perfect VVD replacement in 3 years.”
One added: “Sels and Murillo playing like prime Ramos and𒁃 Casillas against us, as always us.♐”
What Murillo thinks of potential Liverpool move
Transfer speculation involving Liverpool and 🧸Murillo has been doing the rounds over the past few months.
Interestingly, the Fܫorest defender has previously said that he wouldn’t dis🍷count a move to Liverpool in the future.
“I ♏had the dream of playing in the Premier League and I had that thought. I thought: ‘I’ll go to Nottingham Forest, have a good year and then I’ll go to a big club’. I had that in my head,” the 22-year-old said.
“I’d choose Manchester City but it would be more d😼ifficult for me to be a regular starter given the players they have in their squad,” Murillo said.
“There’s City, Arsenal as well, who are fighting for the Premier League title. I wouldn’t discard Liverpool either, it would be a good op🤪portunity for me to show my football in a big club.”
