Liverpool fans want midfielder recalled against Tottenham on Wednesday night
Jurgen Klopp will be determined to take one massive leap towards retaining the Premier League title by leapfrogging Tottenham Hotspur with all three points on Wednesday night – and Reds supporters want him to recall a midfielder to the starting line-up.
Liverpool come into the match in somewhat of an injury crisis. They could be without nine first-team players to take on Jose Mourinho’s side, with Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez both working hard to feature again this season.
Joining them in the treatment room for a sustained period is Konstantinos Tsimikas and Diogo Jota (both knee), while Thiago has been out for a while (also knee). James Milner (groin) and Xherdan Shaqiri will also miss the match.

Naby Keita is a doubt, while Joel Matip was forced off against Fulham and he could also miss out. That means nine players may miss the match, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain an unused substitute against Fulham and severely lacking in match sharpness.
Liverpool fans have been ferociously discussing the starting line-up on Twitter, with centre-back a crisis. But the midfield is also up for discussion, after Gini Wijnaldum struggled on Sunday and Curtis Jones looked lethargic towards the end of the game.
Some fans think Klopp should hand Takumi Minamino just his second start of the season. Where in the side that is, though, is up for debate. One thinks he should replace Jones and give him a rest, while another wants him over Sadio Mane.
Yeah would agree that midfield is going to be very important but I’m worried about Spurs on the counter.
Would actually not mind seeing Minamino start deeper & Hendo/Wijnaldum double pivot if Jones is rested – like Rory said he’s been in great form so will be interesting

Minamino has to play over Mane on Wednesday

So Jose will set up as we do? 4, 3, 3? Seems that way. Or will he go more defensive and risk upsetting their own rhythm? I don't think so. They are very hard-working in midfield so who is our 3rd player in there? Mina? Naby? Jones? I would go for Minamino.
