Liverpool fans react to performance of Naby Keita in Leicester win
Liverpool destroyed Leicester City 3-0 to go level on points with Tottenham at the top of the Premier League. An own goal by Jonny Evans, Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino saw the Reds home.
It was pretty much one-way traffic from the off as Brendan Rodgers’ men struggled to impose themselves on the Premier League champions, despite a strong start to the season.
One man who looked in superb form was Naby Keita who was restored to the side in the absence of Jordan Henderson. It was the first Premier League appearance for the Guinea performer since a 7-2 loss to Aston Villa in October.

The 25-year-old shine during the contest but was withdrawn in the 53rd minute after picking up a hamstring injury and being forced out of the action.
After such a composed performance, it will be truly heartbreaking for the maestro if the injury turns out to one that will keep him out for a prolonged period.
Keita has struggled to get himself a regular run of games in the team since arriving in 2018 and he’d have hoped his outing against Leicester might the game where he turned a corner.
He now faces an anxious wait to discover the extent of his latest injury problem, with Jurgen Klopp likely to be without him for some time.
After his strong showing last night, here is what supporters were saying about the Liverpool midfielder on Twitter.
Terrific performance . Whole team excellent but Keita and Jones particularly good.
Keita makes such a difference to our high press, I think he may even be the most important component now.— Dan Kennett (@DanKennett)

Such a shame for Keita. He was superb, and is superb more often than not in a red shirt these days.

Naby Keita is a beautiful player. A smart player. A conductor in the field. I would love to see Keita, Thiago and Henderson/Wijnaldum as our midfield. Anyone wants Keita sold should play with himself. The same idiots attack The great Firmino.

Naby Keita talented baller with lots off potential just unfortunate that it hasn’t worked out for him at Liverpool yet. Time is running out… he has found it hard to force his way into the side which was always going to be tough.. hope he finds that Leipzig form again in future

Naby Keita is another Sturridge I’m afraid…
