Liverpool fans react to Naby Keita’s display at Newcastle
A number of Liverpool fans took to Twitter in the wake of their 3-1 victory over Newcastle United to laud Naby Keita’s display and express their excitement about the level the midfielder could reach next season.
Jurgen Klopp’s men rounded off their fantastic campaign with a final victory as they came from behind to beat the Magpies at St James’ Park.
There were moments of sheer quality present in each of Liverpool’s goals. But it was another member of the squad who took many of the plaudits on Tyneside.
Keita has been outstanding since the season was restarted. The 25-year-old has not had the easiest time since moving to Merseyside, but he is certainly repaying Klopp for the faith shown in him.

He has shown, particularly in the last month, how influential he could prove to be in the coming years. And the supporters are optimistic that he is going to kick on and be a hugely important part of Klopp’s plans once the new season begins.
