Liverpool fans react on Twitter to Rhian Brewster’s Swansea debut display
A number of Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Rhian Brewster’s performance on his Swansea City debut on Sunday.
It was a frustrating afternoon for the 19-year-old who joined from the Reds earlier this week. Steve Cooper’s men drew 0-0 with their bitter rivals Cardiff City.

Brewster started the game up front on his own. It was always going to be a tough task for the teenager to deal with the physicality of the Bluebirds’ defence.
He held his own at times. that he actually won seven duels during the game. Cardiff’s two centre-backs were the only players to win more during the stalemate.

But plenty of Liverpool fans appear to have expressed some concern for Brewster. Some feel that the game highlighted that letting him join the Swans was an error. He only managed two attempts on goal, both of which went off target.
Others meanwhile, feel that Brewster is going to have improve significantly if he hopes to prove that he can make the grade at Anfield.
Despite his age, Brewster seems to have been around for some time. And you could understand why some supporters fear that time may be running out for the striker to prove that he is good enough for the Reds, particularly as Jurgen Klopp’s side continue to make incredible progress.
It would be unfair to write Brewster off after one appearance for his new club. But there is no question that the Liverpool fans hope to see a lot more in the coming months.
Here is what some of the fans made of Brewster’s debut display…
Fair enough Brewster is young but he looks a million miles off being good enough for Liverpool.

Brewster is a poacher so needs chances to feed off of and Swansea don’t create anything. Poor move

Not sure a loan spell at Swansea is going to help Brewster. He’s barely had a touch. Looks like he couldnt give a toss. Might actually take him back a few steps rather than improving him.

Brewster not been very good this game hope he can kick on for the rest of his loan

Feel sorry for Brewster in that Swansea game.
Utter garbage for service.
Feel like he could have come short a bit more though.— Unbearable Liverpool Fan (@UnbearableLFC)
I hope Swansea aren’t always as bad as that otherwise Brewster will do well to get a few shots rather than goals for them.
