Liverpool fans react on Twitter to Patrick Bamford reports
A number of Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react to Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford.
Bamford has enjoyed a remarkable season at Elland Road. His strike against Spurs at the weekend was his 15th in the Premier League this term.

The Athletic reports that his contract with the Whites was extended on the quiet last summer. But that is not stopping other clubs taking admiring glances at the 27-year-old.
In fact, that Liverpool are fans of the Leeds star. However, the report does not suggest whether the Reds plan to make a move in the near future or not.

It would be no surprise to see the champions target a new striker in the summer. Mo Salah is one of the only players who has scored more goals than Bamford in the top flight this year.
However, he is their only player in double figures this season. Both Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane have endured underwhelming campaigns on Merseyside.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the reported admiration for Bamford has divided opinion on social media.
Bamford – who earns £35,000-a-week, – has had to deal with doubters throughout his time at Elland Road. So he would have surely known that some Liverpool fans would not believe that he can make the step up.
But others are much happier about the links. He has shown how good he can be working under one of the best coaches in the Premier League.
And with Liverpool desperately crying out for a prolific number nine, some think that Bamford could fill the void if given the chance in the future.
With that in mind, here is how some of the Liverpool fans have reacted to the links…
If Bamford was £20m or less, i’d take him.

Don’t think he is a big team player imo. Similar to Danny ings and Lingard. Leeds is the perfect club for him.

Good player. Got a lot of time for him

I wouldn’t be against it

Bamford is 10x the striker Firmino is, but he still doesn’t win us the league next season, so is it worth signing him

No thanks.

Patrick Bamford?
He’s 27 and other than this season, he’s been an average Championship striker all his career.
Reminds me of when we scored Rickie Lambert because he scored 10+ for a mid table PL side.
We cannot be serious.

Yes please😍

Ngl I’d take him perfect for our system tbh and would actually score goals
