Liverpool fans react on Twitter to Nat Phillips’ display
A number of Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Nat Phillips after the defender produced an outstanding performance in another impressive victory for the Reds.
Liverpool followed their 3-1 win over Tottenham in midweek with another three points on Sunday. They beat West Ham by the same scoreline at the London Stadium.

It was another fantastic display from Jurgen Klopp’s men. The Hammers went into the game off the back of a brilliant run of form. But Liverpool demonstrated their class to put themselves right back in the title mix.
And Phillips proved to be a revelation at the heart of the defence. The 23-year-old made his first start in more than a month in the capital.

But he did not look out of place. He dealt with Michail Antonio superbly. , he won four aerial duels and made four clearances. No Liverpool player could better either tally.
He was excellent in possession. And on a day in which many Liverpool fans had reason to talk about another centre-back, Phillips managed to make sure that he was not far from their thoughts.
Several took to social media to laud the academy graduate. One claimed that it was arguably his best performance for the Reds.
Meanwhile, others insisted that he has staked a major claim for a lot more game-time moving forward.
With that in mind, here is how some of the fans reacted to Phillips’s performance…

Also, if we signed Nat Phillips this window and he played exactly how he did today we’d be demanding he starts next to Virg next season
