Liverpool fans react on Twitter to Georginio Wijnaldum’s display
A number of Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Georginio Wijnaldum’s display during the Reds’ 3-2 victory over West Ham United on Monday night.
It was Wijnaldum who broke the deadlock in Jurgen Klopp’s side’s latest win. The 29-year-old headed home his third Premier League goal of the campaign inside the first 10 minutes at Anfield.

Unfortunately for the league leaders, West Ham were not prepared to make it easy for the home side. The visitors went into the final half-hour 2-1 ahead as they looked to become only the second team to deny Liverpool a league win this season.
But Liverpool took another step towards the title with two goals of their own to seal the three points.

And Wijnaldum’s second-half display was arguably an important one as Liverpool looked for the turnaround.
The Dutchman showed plenty of urgency. And that Wijnaldum boasted an incredible pass success rate of 98 percent – Virgil van Dijk had the second best of those who started the game with 90 percent.
And plenty of Liverpool fans suggested that Wijnaldum proved a real point after a difficult night against Atletico Madrid last week.
Several have suggested that he was the man of the match for the Reds. It certainly appears that he returned to something like his best against the Hammers.
Here is what some of the fans made of Wijnaldum’s display…
Thought had a boss game tonight NGL.

Gini Wijnaldum was absolutely incredible for us tonight. Even more surprising to hear he’s not had an assist for two years. ?

Gini Wijnaldum might be the most under appreciated player.

Gini Wijnaldum is somehow Guillit, Seedorf and Ronaldinho altogether man. Unreal.

What a game by Wijnaldum today. Driving the ball forward and always looking for a forward pass. Good stuff??

missed our captain tonight. Gini man of the match for me, also thought Gomez struggled but perhaps I’m not correct on that one.
