Liverpool fans react as Todd Cantwell impresses for Norwich in FA Cup clash
Todd Cantwell starred for Norwich City on Wednesday night as the Canaries produced a somewhat surprising result to knock out Tottenham Hotspur and reach the quarter-finals of the FA Cup – and Liverpool fans want the English star signed.
Cantwell, 22, has been one of Norwich’s shining lights in a struggling campaign that sees the east Anglian side sit bottom of the Premier League. In his 28 Premier League outings, he has scored six goals – as well as creating two more.
The playmaker has been linked with an England call-up as he continues to provide the creative spark in Norwich’s side. He has a contract at Carrow Road until the summer of 2022, but with Norwich likely to go down, Cantwell could move this summer.

Liverpool are due to lose Adam Lallana in the summer with the 31-year-old’s contract expiring in the summer, while doubts continue to arise over Xherdan Shaqiri’s future. It is believed Jurgen Klopp will have to bring in replacements.
Norwich value Cantwell at a fee of £30million, a fee easily affordable for a team that reached the Champions League final last season. That price tag was evident in north London on Wednesday, and he impressed.
He showed some nice touches, and connected the midfield with the attack against a Spurs side that boasted enormous talent. He also scored in the shootout, and many Liverpool fans reacted to his display, urging their club to bring him to Anfield.
