Rangers are reportedly looking to lure Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo to Ibrox on loan this summer, in another example of how Steven Gerrard is using his connections with the Anfield club – and Liverpool fans have reacted on Twitter.
Liverpool are to offer the 21-year-old winger a five-year deal to remain at Liverpool, before being sent on loan again – this time to Gerrard’s Rangers.
England Under-21 international Ojo has been on loan at top-tier French club Stade Reims, but has managed just 18 appearances in all competitions. It has given him little chance of breaking into Liverpool’s first team.

Other loanees have certainly outshined Ojo. Harry Wilson has been immense for Derby County, while Ryan Kent won the Young Player of the Year award at Rangers this season after six goals and nine assists.
Ojo has already been on loan at Wigan Athletic, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Fulham and then Reims. Now, he could make it five loans with a move to Glasgow under Steven Gerrard.
Liverpool fans have reacted on Twitter to the news that Ojo could be the latest Liverpool player to move to Ibrox, after Ovie Ejaria, Jon Flanagan and Kent – and many believe a move to Rangers would be a good move for Ojo.
Likely sell Wilson and Kent. The hope, I'm guessing, is that Ojo does well in Scotland and can be sold for profit next season. Not a bad model. We have Steven Gerrard that will play the youngsters and put them in the shop window for us.

He's going to end up becoming our Jesse Lingard, loan after loan and then come back at 25 😂

Ono is more hit & miss than Kent.
His best is probably better. But he can be poor.
Kent is consistently good.
