Liverpool fans react as report suggests club won’t sign Kabak permanently this summer
Liverpool are reportedly set to send Ozan Kabak back to Schalke 04 this summer after passing up on the option to make his loan signing a permanent one, with Ibrahima Konata set to come in from RB Leipzig.
that Kabak is to return to the German club at the end of this season after spending half of the year with Liverpool as cover for their centre-back injury crisis that has plagued their campaign, with the report stating that Leipzig view the Turkish international as an option to replace Konate this summer.

It was expected that Liverpool would sign Kabak on a full-term basis in the summer, yet it now appears that the 21-year-old’s time with the Reds is now over, with the Schalke-owned defender not featuring in recent games for Jurgen Klopp’s side, with Nat Phillips and Rhys Williams taking the central defensive positions.
And some Liverpool supporters on social media were understanding of the news that Kabak won’t be made a permanent fixture to the squad next season. Here’s what some fans had to say on Twitter about the update…

If Ozan Kabak is not permanent,it is better to sign them,by selling Matip too.

Makes sense why kabak not been playing, schalke will not have him risk getting injured and transfer fee drop if we ain’t signing him

I think we probably won’t sign Kabak and a lot of clubs will be interested in him, but this link to Leipzig is probably not true as Klostermann and Orban were starting a lot of games ahead of Konate and they already have completed the signing of Simakan.

might be a proper compromise,
probably we won't truly enhance what we already got without not even lose nothing with what is coming in,
someway might be an ideal way for a bargain and refinance our market to boost our team and ranks further.— fran (@fran63645593)
That’s fine don’t rate him to much tbh

Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez are likely to be fit for the start of next season, with the former personally taking the decision to miss this summer’s EUROs with the Netherlands to focus on his fitness.
