Liverpool fans react as Dietmar Hamann identifies dream Mo Salah replacement

Mo Salah’s future is up for debate once again after he failed to rule out moves to either Real Madrid or Barcelona in an – and Reds fans have reacted after Dietmar Hamann identified the dream replacement.

Salah, 28, has been consistently linked with a move to either of two Spanish giants and his most-recent comments have only intensified rumours. He still has two and a half years remaining on his Liverpool contract.

The Egyptian remains just as crucial to Liverpool as he did when he first signed. The ex-Chelsea and Roma man has scored an impressive 16 goals in 23 games – as well as laying on four assists.

But asked who would be his dream signing to replace Salah if he was to ever leave Anfield, ex-Reds midfielder Hamann identified France international Kingsley Coman – who continues to shine at Bayern Munich.

“The best out there is Kingsley Coman,” . “He’s had injuries, but he has stayed fit and scored the winner in the CL final. He’s two footed, quick, very clever, great decision making finishing has improved.

“Bayern Munich are not interested in losing him and he has made it clear he is happy. If Salah was to move, it will have a knock-on effect, because Liverpool will need to buy someone. Things happen quickly.”

Coman is unlikely to leave Bayern any time soon. The German and European champions continue to prove why they are many people’s shout as the best team in the world at the moment. He has a contract at Bayern until 2024.

But Liverpool fans responded to Hamann’s comments on Coman as a potential replacement for Salah in years to come – and many agree, urging their club to consider the 35-time France international if Salah does indeed go.
