Liverpool fans react as club reportedly table bid for South American winger
Liverpool have reportedly tabled a bid to sign Porto winger Otavio – offering the Portuguese outfit a player-plus-cash deal. A Bola claimed on Tuesday that Marko Grujic has been included, as well as a fee of £19.75million. Liverpool fans have reacted on Twitter to the offer.
Otavio, 26, starred for Porto last season. The uncapped Brazilian had a hand in 17 goals during 42 games for his club, even captaining them on occasion. Porto reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League before losing to Chelsea, an impressive run – but only finished second in Liga NOS.
However, Otavio impressed during the 2020-21 campaign. Now, that Porto have received an offer from Liverpool for the winger. Grujic spent last season on loan at Porto and played 39 times – and he has been included in the deal on a permanent basis.

What are Liverpool fans saying about a deal for Otavio – including Grujic?
Grujic has been combined with a fee of £19.75million for Otavio – which probably makes a deal valued at north of £30million. Porto are yet to respond but they are likely to want Grujic again given he played so regularly during 2020-21. Otavio could be Xherdan Shaqiri’s replacement.
The Swiss Euro 2020 star will be sold this summer, according to The Mirror – if a fee of £13million is tabled. So, Liverpool need a winger and they have tabled a player-plus-cash offer including Grujic for Otavio – prompting reaction from fans. Some have even compared him to Coutinho.
