Liverpool fans react as club linked with Anderlecht teenager Jeremy Doku

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Anderlecht teenager Jeremy Doku but may have to wait until the summer of 2021 to complete a move for the 17-year-old sensation – and Liverpool fans have reacted on Twitter to the news.

that Liverpool are keeping tabs on Doku, who has already become a regular in an Anderlecht side that boasts Vincent Kompany, Samir Nasri, Nacer Chadli and Kemar Roofe.

Indeed, he has clocked up 30 appearances in total for Anderlecht’s senior side – 24 of which have come this season. He has scored four senior goals and laid on three assists. Last time out, he netted twice in a 7-0 win over Zulte Waregem.

Doku has not only left a lasting impressing on Anderlecht. He has already been capped at Under-21 level by Belgium, and now Liverpool are interested in luring him to the Premier League as competition for the likes of Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott.

The report claims, though, that because Doku has signed a contract until the summer of 2022 – Liverpool may have to wait until 2021 to sign Doku. The player, who has been compared to Romelu Lukaku by his current club, is rated at £20million.

Liverpool fans reacted to the reported news on Twitter that their club are interested in signing the teenage sensation, and many believe he would be an excellent addition to Jurgen Klopp’s side.
