Liverpool fans react as Ben Woodburn reportedly set for loan move
Liverpool youngster Ben Woodburn is set to sign for Sparta Rotterdam on loan for the 2020/21 campaign,, and their fans have been reacting on Twitter.
Woodburn is the club’s youngest ever goalscorer following his goal against Leeds in the League Cup, aged 17 years and 45 days.
He has spent the last two seasons out on loan at Sheffield United and Oxford last season in League One.

The 20-year-old scored once and registered five assists in 16 appearances during 2019/20, with Oxford losing to Wycombe in the play-off final.
Woodburn has 11 Liverpool appearances to his name, scoring just the one goal on that memorable night against Leeds in League Cup.
Liverpool supporters had high hopes for the youngster and at 20 there is still some optimism that he can get some games and goals under his belt out on loan and then make an impact at Anfield.
He will be under no illusions that the time must be now and Sparta Rotterdam should hand him the chance to play plenty of games and hit the ground running.
Following news of his pending loan move, Liverpool fans were quick to wish him well on Twitter.
Here is a selection of Tweets from the Reds faithful regarding Woodburn’s latest temporary departure.

Shame for the lad the way things have gone since that debut goal. Hope he has a good loan and gets a good move when he comes back. Things just don’t work out the way we all hope they do sometimes but I hope he can make a career at a good level
