Liverpool fans on Twitter call for spectacular Philippe Coutinho return
Liverpool fans have called to re-sign Coutinho.
The Brazilian midfielder played for Barcelona on Monday night.
However, as the Catalans only managed a 1-1 draw courtesy of a late equaliser, Coutinho only played an hour.
The former Liverpool man has had a horrible time at the Nou Camp and many of the Reds would happily take him back.
It will be four years in January since the Brazilian made a £142m exit from Anfield ().
However, reports from on 21st August this year claimed that Liverpool had ‘explored the possibility’ of re-signing Coutinho.
Nothing came of these rumours, however.
Now, Coutinho is playing a bit part role under Ronald Koeman at the Nou Camp.

Liverpool fans have called to re-sign Coutinho
In almost four years the Brazilian has only managed 23 goals and 14 assists in 92 games for the club ().
He’s been a shadow of what he produced for Liverpool.
For the Reds he averaged just shy of a goal or an assist every two games and the fans wouldn’t turn their noses up at his return.
They wouldn’t have to part with a fee anywhere near the £142m that they sold him for either.
Jurgen Klopp has worked with him and Mo Salah and Sadio Mane also know what it’s like to play with the Brazilian.
An Anfield return could seemingly be the best option for all parties.
Liverpool themselves are looking short of depth in attacking areas.
Over the summer they sold Xherdan Shaqiri and lost Georginio Wijnaldum on a free without replacing either.

Other Premier League interest
If Liverpool are to swoop for Coutinho, they’ll need to beat out other clubs to his signature.
It was reported over the summer that both and could have signed the player.
However, if Coutinho is to ever make a return to English football it simply has to be Liverpool.
He provided the fans with some fantastic Anfield moments and there’s no reason why he can’t add to them.
It would be yet another romantic footballing return.
Coutinho’s former Barcelona teammate Antoine Griezmann recently re-signed for Atletico Madrid ().
Cristiano Ronaldo similarly made his long-awaited return to Manchester United ().
Another romantic return would go down well with the Liverpool fans, who would welcome Coutinho back to Anfield with open arms.
Barcelona would likely be keen to get a fee for the player too, given their dire financial situation ().
Removing the 29-year-old from their wage bill and bringing in a fee for the player seems like the perfect situation for the Spanish side.
