Liverpool fans love what Klopp did with Tsimikas at full-time, against Preston
Liverpool earned a 2-0 win over Preston on Wednesday and fans are loving what Jurgen Klopp and Konstantinos Tsimikas did at full-time on the pitch.
Tsimikas, 25, was handed just his 14th senior outing for Liverpool on Wednesday night ?starting on the left side of the defence against Preston.
It saw him equal last season’s tally of appearances already this season, his seventh of the campaign. Indeed, the Greece international is more involved.
He was excellent on Wednesday night, as Divock Origi and Takumi Minamino got the goals to book Liverpool’s place in the quarter-finals.
But Tsimikas was certainly impressive on the left flank. So much so, he earned a big hug from his manager at the full-time whistle.

Obviously, Andy Robertson remains first choice for Liverpool. But there were doubts whether Tsimikas was good enough to act as cover.
Just seven appearances in his first season following the £11.75million move from Olympiakos naturally generated those doubts. But he is improving.
So is the £60,000-a-week star’s () game time. Liverpool fans are clearly fans of the Greek ace, and are keen to see him do well.
