Liverpool fans impressed with Xherdan Shaqiri’s cameo against Huddersfield
Liverpool were victors over Huddersfield Town on Friday night – and some of the club’s supporters were impressed by Xherdan Shaqiri’s cameo off the bench.
Jurgen Klopp’s team moved back to the top of the Premier League ahead of Manchester City, as they took care of business at Anfield in comfortable fashion.
Naby Keita’s goal after 15 seconds settled any title race nerves, before Sadio Mane (two) and Mohamed Salah (two) scored for the hosts.
Despite a Champions League semi-final with Barcelona next week, Liverpool didn’t let up against Huddersfield and put them to the sword.

A selection of Liverpool fans were delighted with Shaqiri’s appearance from the bench, as he entered the action in the 73rd minute alongside returnee Alex Oxalde-Chamberlain from injury.
Shaqiri was involved in the fifth goal with a brilliant defence-splitting pass in the build-up and slotted into the team nicely.
The 27-year-old attacker midfielder hasn’t been a regular during his first season with Liverpool and had to be patient.
He’s not started a Premier League fixture since January, but continues to show a great attitude and the left-footed playmaker has tons of ability.
Shaqiri has made 28 appearances across all competitions this campaign, scoring six goals and supplying three assists in return.
Here are some Liverpool fans speaking about Shaqiri:
