Liverpool fans discuss Xherdan Shaqiri future after being linked with Galatasaray
Xherdan Shaqiri is reportedly interesting Turkish side Galatasaray ahead of the summer window with the Liverpool star linked with leaving Anfield – and Reds fans have reacted on Twitter to the reported news.
The link with Galatasaray comes after Shaqiri was one of six players that could leave Liverpool in the summer – along with Dejan Lovren, Naby Keita, Divock Origi, Loris Karius and Nathaniel Clyne.
It comes after the Swiss star has managed just 10 appearances this season for Liverpool, with a number of niggling injuries limiting the former Bayern Munich and Inter Milan star from featuring on a regular basis.

28-year-old Shaqiri is being eyed by Galatasaray, who still remain very much in the hunt for the SuperLig title this season – sitting in third place and three points behind leaders Trabzonspor with eight to play.
The latest report from the Liverpool will accept offers worth a whopping £28million with Gala eyeing a loan-to-buy deal for the versatile attacker. Shaqiri has a contract at Anfield until the summer of 2023.
With doubts beginning to arise over Shaqiri’s future at Liverpool, many supporters took to Twitter to discuss the player’s future and many are desperate to see him remain at the club beyond the summer.
Please keep shaqiri 😖😖

People literally forget how clutch he was for us last season in Oct-January. Crucial at Barca & Newcastle games last season too. This season clutch game vs Everton. I’ve had a calf tear it’s not nice.

Liverpool should keep Shaqiri. He is a decent player.

Definitely keep him. Better than minamino and he has the quality to change a game. Been unlucky with injuries this season

You can slate me for this but Shaqiri needs to stay at Liverpool FC.
