Liverpool fans discuss reported race for Divock Origi, Celtic and Rangers among clubs interested
the race to sign Liverpool striker Divock Origi is hotting up. Numerous Premier League clubs and Scottish duo Celtic and Rangers are said to be keeping an eye on the Belgian ace. Liverpool fans have reacted to the new report regarding Origi – and many want him gone.
Origi, 26, is now in the final 12 months of his contract at Liverpool and if the Reds want some cash for his signature – now is the time to sell him. Belgium international Origi is likely to want to go himself, having missed out on Euro 2020. He was given 181 minutes of league action last term.
The report states that Celtic and Rangers are considering ambitious moves to sign Liverpool star Origi. But the Scottish clubs are not alone in pursuit of the ex-Wolfsburg loanee, with Premier League sides West Ham, Southampton, Newcastle and Crystal Palace all said to be keeping tabs.

What are Liverpool fans saying about Origi, amid Celtic and Rangers interest?
Clearly, it is time for Origi to leave. Roberto Firmino is first choice and Diogo Jota is next in line. Liverpool could even add a striker this summer. While he is a fan favourite after his goals against Barcelona in the Champions League semi-final, he needs to go for the good of his career.
Celtic will sign Kyogo Furuhashi this summer, giving them another option up front. But Odsonne Edouard could leave. If he goes, Origi could be an ideal replacement – and it is similar for Rangers in regards to Alfredo Morelos with Porto keen. Liverpool fans discussed the Origi report.
It remains to be seen how much Liverpool would charge given his contract situation – and that they only spent £10million to sign him
