Liverpool fans discuss comments made by departed 30-year-old
Gini Wijnaldum left Liverpool in the summer, ending a five-year association with the Premier League club.
Some comments made by the midfielder suggest that he’s not enjoying the glitz and glamour of PSG.
Wijnaldum signed for the Parisians on a five-year deal, joining the club on a free transfer from Liverpool.
The 30-year-old told reporters, , whilst on international duty, that he’s not been overly happy in France.

: “The situation is not what I wanted. I have played a lot in recent years, was always fit and also did very well.
“This is something different and that takes getting used to. I was really looking forward to the new step and then this happens. It’s very difficult.”
Wijnaldum has started five of PSG’s nine games this season, equating to just 426 minutes of action in Ligue 1.
That isn’t ideal for a player who has been a mainstay for Liverpool across the last five years.
During his time with the Reds, he made 237 appearances, scoring 22 goals and claiming 16 assists.
Now, he’s facing a fight to truly convince Mauricio Pochettino that he should be a regular in his team.
What have Liverpool fans said about Wijnaldum?
Some are short of sympathy with the Holland international. He chose not to pen a new deal at Anfield and now he must lay in his bed.
Liverpool didn’t sign another midfielder. Harvey Elliott was playing regularly earlier in the season; with Curtis Jones coming in once he got injured.

The Reds are in decent form and are yet to taste defeat in the Premier League during 2021/22.
It would be a real kick in the teeth if Liverpool were to go on and reclaim their Premier League title this season, without Wijnaldum.
Following the 82-cap player’s comments, we looked at what Liverpool fans had to say on Twitter.
