Liverpool fans are all saying the same thing about Arne Slot following Fulham draw
Liverpool managed to pick up a point in adverse circumstances in their Premier League clash with Fulham at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.
The Reds, who played with ten men for much of the game, twice had to come from behind to secure a 2-2 draw with the Cottagers.
Liverpool conceded in the 11th minute as Alex Iwobi found Antonee Robinson to tee up Andreas Pereira for the visitors’ opener.
And just six minutes later, full-back Andrew Robertson was sent off after denying Fulham forward Harry Wilson a goalscoring opportunity.
To make things worse, Arne Slot’s remonstrations fell foul of referee Tony Harrington, who showed him his third yellow card of the season for a touchline ban against Tottenham.

However, Liverpool struck back early on in the second half as Mohamed Salah whipped in a deep cross that Cody Gakpo converted at the back post.
Fulham then got their noses in front again as Robinson cut the ball back for Rodrigo Muniz to backheel past Alisson in the Liverpool net.
A dramatic game then finished with the Reds firing in a late equaliser, substitutes Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota combining for the latter to weave past his marker and coolly slam home.
During and after the game, Liverpool fans were having their say on Slot’s approach to a game that could have slipped out of the Reds’ reach.
Liverpool fans wowed by Arne Slot’s in-game management
Slot showed some great in-game management as he opted against bringing on a sub early on and instead restructured his formation.
This culminated in Liverpool eventually controlling possession and territory for the most part, almost as if they were not a man down.
And Slot’s substitutions reaped rewards as two players off the bench combined for an important equaliser.
Liverpool fans were impressed by Slot’s methods and they took to X to say how lucky they are to have such an elite manager at the helm.
One fan wrote: “With a red card within 20 minutes to the start of the game, most managers will make changes instantly.
“But my manager Arne Slot didn’t make any changes immediately – instead, he restructured the players and it worked out fine. I must say Arne Slot is a good tactician.”
Another said: “Arne Slot deserves massive props. We were up against it against a good side with ten men. Tactical tweaks allowed us to have spells of sustained pressure.
“He’s an elite coach and grateful we have him at the helm.”
Praise for Slot’s tactical acumen kept coming, with one supporter saying Slot is a “literal tactical genius” and another claiming the match was “testament that Slot is really good at what he does”.
And one wrote: “Slot is a top coach btw. The amount of troubleshooting he had to do in the game especially the first half and how proactive he was with it was great to see.”
What Chris Sutton said about Liverpool in draw with Fulham
BBC Sport pundit Chris Sutton tipped his hat to Liverpool for how they managed the game and came away with a point.
“I thought Liverpool were phenomenal,” he said on . “Brilliant game.
“They went down to 10 men and didn’t feel sorry for themselves. Jota looked sharp as anything.
“Fulham are a really balanced side and were a big threat down the left. Robinson looked great.
“I thought Liverpool were phenomenal in the face of adversity.”
