Liverpool fans are all saying the same thing about Alisson Becker after win over Girona
Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker returned to the fold as the Reds took on Girona in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
The Reds stopper returned to the Anfield club’s starting XI for the first time since sustaining a hamstring injury early in October.
Alisson played the full 90 minutes as Liverpool recorded a 1-0 victory over Girona and made it six wins out of six in the Champions League this term.
He kept a clean sheet as the Reds triumphed at the Estadi Municipal de Montilivi thanks to Mohamed Salah’s confident penalty in the 63rd minute.
And quite a few Liverpool fans were all saying the same thing as they watched the Brazil international in action against the Liga side.

Liverpool fans say Alisson Becker is the best goalkeeper in the world
Liverpool supporters were delighted to see Alisson back in the starting XI and then they were even more impressed when seeing him in action.
Many fans reiterated how Alisson is the best goalkeeper in the world, with one fan stating that, while Caoimhin Kelleher is a “very, very good back-up keeper”, Alisson “wins you games”.
Another said on X, after the Brazilian had made three big saves in the opening 17 minutes: “That’s why he is the best in the world, and some people questioned whether he should come straight back into the side.
“Kelleher is fantastic, but ALISSON IS HIM!”
There was yet more praise, with one supporter adding: “I love Kelleher, but Alisson has been here for 45 minutes and has already proven why he’s the best in the world.”
One fan also noted how involved Alisson was early on, saying: “Alisson getting flogged here like an office worker after two weeks off.
“They’re making him work for every day he’s missed and then some.”
What the media said about Alisson in win over Girona
gave Alisson an 8 out of 10 for his efforts on the day.
“Back in the team after injury and looked like he’d never been away,” they wrote. “Made a string of important saves in an impeccable showing.”
Likewise, went with an 8 out of 10 and wrote: “Came to Liverpool’s rescue three times in the first half and then just seconds into the second half.”
also went with an 8 out of 10 for Alisson as he shone against the Catalan outfit.
“Returning to the side after 11 matches on the sidelines, the Brazilian was called into action early and made a good save from Bryan Gil,” they wrote.
“He was needed a few more times in the first 45 minutes especially but showed no signs of needing to warm back into things after his period on the treatment table.”
Slot recently named Alisson in his all-time Champions League XI, saying he’s an “easy pick” for just how “outstanding” he has been over the years.
Based on Tuesday night’s display, he’s clearly got plenty of years ahead of him at the highest level.
