Liverpool should demand Real Madrid’s Marco Asensio if they sell Sadio Mane

Real Madrid are said to ﷺbe interested in bringing Liverpool speedster Sadio Mane to the Bernabeu this summer, and are offering £70 million and current first-team goalkeeper Keylor Navas,  However, Liverpool would need a direct replacement, and should instead assert that Spanish protege Marco Asensio be part oꦫf any negotiations going forward.

In a sepaไrate report two weeks ago, the Reds were interested in signing Asensio, and the latest claims give them serious leverage in the negotiations. The logistics of completing a permanent deal for Madrid’s star graduate are tricky at best, but Mane going 🐠in the other direction would seriously improve their chances.

Liverpool fans will not be keen on the idea of losing Mane, but the prospect of Asensio comingꦛ the other way would certainly soften the blow if the Senegal international opted to move. And what’s more, he would act as a direct replacement on the left wing.

Jurgen Klopp’s lack of natural wide options often coincide wiಌth both Mane and Mohamed Salah cutting back, looking for inverted runs into the box which, against resolute defe💎nces, has proved largely ineffective last term.

Asensio, as a naturally left-footed winger, is becoming renowned for his quality byline delivery, using his pace to stretch the pitch before delivering pin-point crosses into the box on his favoured foot, often catching recovering defenders out, and he would a🎶dd an extra dimension to Liverpool’s attack.
