Liverpool: Criticism from Klopp; Hart latest; Benfica striker linked
Jurgen Klopp has criticised his side despite a convincing victory over Manchester City with Georgino Wijnaldum’s goal decisive against Pep Guardiola in a top of the table clash as he :
“Games like this are very, very difficult and it’s not that we had a clear plan from the first second to stay deep or be deeper than in other games but you have to learn in the game, you have to adapt to the game. However, have linked the club with a move for Benfica’s Mexican striker Raul Jimenez, who has scored eight goals in just six starts so far for this season for the Portuguese side. Seemingly a back up option for his club, he could be available in January.
A central striker, Jimenez would likely be content to compete for a place in the starting eleven and bares more similarities to the style of Roberto Firmino as a central striker who drops deep and moves freely, as opposed to a more traditional centre forward like Divock Origi or Daniel Sturridge.
