Liverpool could now make player-plus-cash bid for £30m midfielder
Liverpool now want to sign Marcelo Brozovic during the January transfer window, and could offer Naby Keita in a player-plus-cash bid for the Croatian, .
The Reds are going through a miserable season. Jurgen Klopp’s men are languishing in mid-table in the Premier League. And they were arguably fortunate to get through in the third round of the FA Cup after a controversial game against Wolves at Anfield.

A number of areas within the squad are causing real concern. But perhaps the position which seemingly needs the most attention is in the middle of the park. The likes of Fabinho and Thiago Alcantara have not been at their best this season. Meanwhile, the likes of Jordan Henderson and James Milner are into their thirties.
Liverpool reportedly ready to make Brozovic bid
Fabrizio Romano suggested on this week that Liverpool are eyeing both Jude Bellingham and Matheus Nunes for the summer. And he added that there is a chance that Keita could leave with his contract set to expire.

But perhaps Liverpool could look to address some of their midfield problems before the end of this month – and could let Keita go in the process.
that Liverpool now want to make a bid for Brozovic. And they could offer Keita to Inter to try and increase the chances of a deal happening.
The report notes that Brozovic is valued at around £30 million. And the Reds will include cash in the bid due to Keita’s contract status.
It would be a shock if Brozovic ended the January window on Merseyside. Liverpool have already made a marquee signing in this window in Cody Gakpo. So they may not have much left to spend in this window.
It is also not the most appealing time to join the Reds. So Brozovic – who has made over 300 appearances for the Nerazzurri – will surely have reservations about moving to Anfield this month.
He is an ‘unbelievable‘ player. So it would be quite something if a deal was possible. But it would certainly be a shock this time around.
