Leon Osman has praise for ‘brilliant’ Liverpool player Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
Former Everton midfielder Leon Osman has told that Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is brilliant.
Osman was quizzed on the Reds performer ahead of their Carabao Cup tie with MK Dons in which the England man is set to get some game time under his belt.
The 26-year-old missed the vast majority of last season with a serious knee injury and is now fighting to work his way back into Jurgen Klopp’s plans.
He has started twice so far this season and appears to be reborn under the German boss in a central midfield role.

Osman is clearly a big fan of the former Arsenal favourite.
He told : “I think he is a brilliant player. When he made the move from Arsenal, a lot of people questioned it. Was he good enough? Could he play in midfield? Could he get used to the style of play at Liverpool?
“But he’s adapted so quickly to the energetic style that Jurgen Klopp’s men have then added that quality to his game from a more central position.”
TBR Verdict – Big season for Oxlade-Chamberlain after injury lay-off
Tonight should see Oxlade-Chamberlain line-up for Liverpool and he will relish every single second on the pitch after the nightmare of last season.
The challenge for the England man is to get back into the form that he was showing prior to his injury; making it impossible for Klopp to leave him out of his team.

Osman knows what it takes to make a solid Premier League central midfielder and this is a glowing reference for the £120,000-a-week star.
With competition for places fierce at Anfield, the midfielder knows he has a battle on his hands to regain a shirt.
Performing well at MK Dons could spark a run of games in the first-team and prove to supporters that he can overcome his fitness concerns.
